Amber has worked as a professional photographer for over 15
years, for clients among others, The Telegraph, i-D & Time
magazine. Her work spans documentary, portraiture and still
life. As well as commercial commissions, she has pursued
personal projects including a series of documentary images of
a ninth generation silk weaving family in Suffolk. She mainly
works with natural and available light in order to infuse her photographs with a kind of low key intimacy, whether taking pictures of people, interiors, landscapes or what she calls "environmental portraits". Amber is currently working on two extended projects: a series on an abandoned caravan site in
the Isle of Sheppey and another about her relationship with
her
younger sister. Recent commissions include a trip to Burma
with Italian luxury brand Loro Piana to document the ancient process of fabric being made from the lotus flower for their current collection.
